My LA Art Story

Two weeks, three good friends, 90 minute drive, 45 minute wait for entry, and four hour wait for the "Infinity Room" all worth it!
I've wanted to visit The Broad since it's opening last year and just never could manage a visit. Reservations are booked through next year. Without tickets you have to wait in line. When my Northern California road trip changed to a local staycation I decided to head into LA ticketless and stand in line for LA's newest museum.
The stars aligned on a cloudy Sunday. We drove into the city, got in line and did not have to wait long. From the art, to an impromptu photoshoot, to brunch at Otium, and wrapping with a magical journey in the Infinity Room we had another wonderful LA experience which always is the case when we visit the city.
Our first stop adding our name to the waitlist for the Infinity Room and then taking the escalator through a cocoon like tunnel to the top floor. We were greeted with Jeff Koon's Tulips as the distinctive honeycomb architecture allowed light to filter in. Energy, color, the ordinary as extraordinary - modern art is not for all, but art is about finding something that moves you.
My first emotion joy thanks to Takashi Murakami's Hustle'n'Punch By Kaikai And Kiki. I would love to have this piece hanging in my living room just for the positive energy everyday.
There was much to see and experience. As always I am sharing a few pictures and videos. Enjoy!
